Inclusion matters at PlayGroup
Everybody at PlayGroup puts their hands in the center.
PlayGroup’s core values of Joy, Belonging, Community, Growth-Mindset, Advocacy, and Acceptance are all rooted in inclusion. Welcoming kids and families to celebrate the fullest expressions of their identities and experiences is what makes our work possible. We strive to create a community where belonging is not contingent on external attributes or adherence to arbitrary norms. We accept each other as we are, and we work together to learn and grow, advocating for needs and addressing conflict with mutual respect. In a world where barriers to access of all sorts only seem to be increasing, we want to be clear: you and your family are welcome at PlayGroup.

Many members of our communities are hurting right now. PlayGroup’s mission to provide supportive, kid-centered social groups is unchanged. Additionally, we wanted to share some resources that may be useful to our families:
